Switching to Organic Cosmetics

The crap cosmetics we put on our face and skin have been linked to various forms of cancer, breast cancer included. Why doesn't the FDA regulate the cosmetics industry? Probably because we do not ingest cosmetics. Does that mean they do not regulate drugs that are spread on the skin vs. ingesting it? I didn't think so. What we put on our skin can kill us. Face it. The epidermis is the largest organ in our body and easily absorbs anything we put on it. In countries like Germany, the standards for the cosmetics industry is extremely strict. They're not allowed to put in parabens or any synthetic ingredients. If other countries are protecting their citizens from these harmful ingredients, what is keeping the US from doing so? Until the US changes and protects the mass from these toxic ingredients, we must fend for ourselves. Thankfully, there are many websites to help with this. As I've been cleaning out my makeup stash and replacing it with natural and organic lines, I've been blessed to have encountered many gurus in this field and even more entrepreneurs who took it upon themselves to create products that are clean and safe and putting it online for people to buy.

Great vid!! …? unfortunately ignorant ppl will always object to whats the TRUTH.
this needs to be stopped, this company is? not exceptional the ingredients they use have not been tested for safety and their formulations are quite dull. here is a typical formula
“USDA Certified Organic Perilla Seed Oil; USDA Certified Organic Myrrh Oil; USDA Certified Organic Frankincense Oil; USDA Certified French Lavender Oil ”
To me this looks awful, lavender is a favorite hate of mine causing cell death and its estrogenic properties. but it smells nice so companies add it to creams. why?
what !!! talc is unnatural ? no it is isnt it is mined just like the iron oxides and it is better than corn starch for acne prone skin because bacteria are known to feed on food like? ingredients.
.
I use st.ives apricote scrub and it has propylene glycol in it Do u think? i should still use it?
haha earth loving? jap
Just because it says its organic or “all natural” doesn’t mean that it is. The safest way is to look at the inredients…I spent a whole day researchin chemicals from hygiene products I used daily and found that all parabeans ethyl,? methyl, and propyl are bad. Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, SLS (sodiuam Laureth Sulfate) Amonium-laureth-sulfate is the same thing…etc…
THANK YOU! It’s glad to know there are like-minded people in? the world.
I personally use Physicians Formula Organic Wear makeup. There are a few ingredients of concern in their products, but of a lesser degree, and not as many as ‘normal’ makeup. They are still the ‘greenest’ you will be able to find, as I have researched.
Can u tell me if the makeup u bought is any good cuz if it is then ill have somewhere to buy good organic makeup
I already went organic with my shampoo an its the best thing iv ever? done now my hair is sooo soft
