A common one that can be found at most drugstores is Physician’s Formula Organic Wear line. Not all of it is completely vegan, as the ones with brushes have goat hair brushes and the lip gloss contains beeswax. But their liquid foundation is very good and so is their tinted moisturizer. The mascara is excellent as well. They have a website where you can check out all their products: http://www.organicwearmakeup.com/en-us/d… before you head to the store to buy.
I like EccoBella for powder and blush, available here: http://www.eccobella.com/index.php?main_… Their mascara is also very good, but be warned it isn’t water proof. I think I might like the organic wear mascara a little more though, even though it only comes in black and sometimes I like to wear brown for a softer look.
I just recently fell in love with No Miss eyeshadows and nail polishes. They have bright vivid colors and are vegan (eye shadow is all natural). You can get these from Alternative Outfitters: http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com/bea…
Personally, I don’t shun bee products so I use Burt’s Bees lip glosses, but if you do prefer to have bee-free cosmetics, Alternative Outfitters has that taken care of too. Check out the Crazy Rumors lip color and lip balms on their site. They also sell BWC (Beauty Without Cruelty) lip colors which are more vivid but I believe they aren’t all natural and definitely not organic. Another note on BWC, although you ask for organic I do recommend this brand. Their products are pretty good quality even though they aren’t organic. Theirs is the only eyeliner I like actually – the all natural ones seem to crumble really easily which makes a big mess.
For makeup brushes, I got a set of bamboo brushes from Walgreens that are certified vegan, but I’ve heard Alicia Silverstone recently came out with a line of vegan makeup brushes so you might want to check those out.
Now, for face cleanser and moisturizer I really like Alba Botanica, which I actually found at Walgreens. I got the pineapple enzyme cleanser, hibiscus toner and green tea moisturizer. It works for normal to oily skin and will help prevent acne in mild cases (but if you have severe acne it won’t help you – you’ll probably have to suck it up and use what works if that’s the case). They also have other formulations that are better for dry skin. Alternative Outfitters carries all of these on their website as well if you can’t find it in local stores. Alba also makes wonderful body washes, body cremes (like lotion only thicker) and sunscreen.
