Question by lvbs793: What do you consider a natural makeup look?
I feel a lot of people think that only having a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and maybe some concealer and brow powder creates a "natural" look. But the thing is, there's times someone can have LOADS of makeup to create that look because maybe they have "flaws" like rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and the list goes on.

Hmm like something not too dramatic like bright rainbow eyeshadow etc :p I use eyeliner, concealer, foundation and bronzer everyday and people think I look natural/ no makeup on :) its crazy. It honestly depends how much you put on. If you cake it it won't look naturally for sure!!

I consider less makeup to be the more natural. Because using less makeup shows the real you, how you look naturally without all the coverup and makeup. Flaws is what makes you different from everyone else and what makes you, you.
i wear ALOT of make up but i make it look natural..
i feel like the only think that looks unatural is shimmery or black eyeshadow, thick eyeliner, and loads of mascara, and red lips. you know dramatic make up. its self explanitory.
people can get away with wearing 2 coats of foundation, a dusting of powder, bronzer, blush, pinky nude lip stick, mascara and a dusting of a very light brown eye shadow.
What i consider in a natural look includes;
Understanding that a ‘natural’ look is one that uses colors that are right for your skin tone. How much you use, and where, depends on your personal style.
Making sure your concealer is yellow in tone since it mutes imperfections without adding color, giving your skin a natural look.
Applying foundation that matches your skin tone. The right foundation will seem to disappear on your face. If you are African-American, it’s a good idea to have light, medium and dark shades of your foundation to allow for different gradations of color on different parts of your face.
Applying eye makeup in earthy tones’beige, brown, gold or plum for shadows and brown and charcoal gray for mascara.
Choosing a blush color that is close to the color of your cheeks after you’ve exercised.
I would say my makeup looks natural I do concealer foundation two mascaras a brown top liner an blush if I’m going out somewhere like idk my more dressed up look I guess I add black liner on bottom and do my eyeshadow.
I only wear makeup when I’m going out ie shopping, meals etc. Popping to the shops or around the house I rarely bother as it’s not good to put products on your skin every day. Even when I go out I still keep it ‘natural’. I use 1 layer of foundation from Avon that matches my skin tone. It can be difficult in the Summer as I have a tan at the moment so am searching for a new foundation! I put some powder on and a layer of clear mascara and then black mascara and a shade of pink lip gloss. Sometimes I use red lip gloss or a dark purple kind of shade lipstick. I hope I have helped.
