I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I have what is known as atopic dermatitis (aka infantile eczema) and was in the same boat as you.

You really need to find a good soap that leaves your skin feeling smooth. There are several moisturizing bars on the market. You also need to stop taking very hot showers -- warm is ok, but very hot showers wash the oil out of your skin. After your shower apply a moisturizer, my dermatologist recommends 100% petroleum jelly.

For eczema flare-ups there is a cream from Cortizone-10 specifically for eczema. It's probably not the most organic or best cream, but you shouldn't have to use much of it if you can control your skin hydration.

In boots there is a brand called 'collection 2000' and its very natural, try the colours on your wrist to find the perfect colour because they often look different than the bottle says. They are also very reasonable since I assume you won't be using it again... Heheh:)

Personally, I use Clean and Clear 360 Cleanser in the orange bottle. It's really been helping my face.

Sugar is a natural exfoliate. You can also use cooled down green tea as a skin toner for skin benefits. There is a youtube channel called BubzBeauty that has a lot of natural facial masks and she has lots of tips on skin care.

As for moisturizer, I use Olay.. I think. It makes my skin feel great. I also use Clearasil Rapid Action Pads every few days to help my acne, and it has really worked for me.


But check out BubzBeauty on YouTube. I'm sure some of her tips will help you!

P.S. - If you go on eBay, you can buy Dead Sea clay for like $ 12.00 and it takes away your acne in literally like 15 minutes. I put it on my pimple and left it on for about 15 minutes and when I washed it off, the pimple was gone!

I prefer the Aveeno Active Naturals skin care line. They cleanse and moisturize. There are all sorts of products within the line...facial cleansers, exfoliators, acne medicine, moisturizers, moisturizers for people with acne, sensitive skin cleansers....and the like. It is certainly more beneficial to the skin to use organic. Even if you wash it off every night, your skin is still absorbing everything you put on it during the day, so you want it as good as possible. Yes, some organic makeup is very "over exaggerated" about how badly you need it. I wear both kinds. I find organic doesn't cover as well, but in the long run I like how it makes my skin work. I did really like Physician's Formula's organic line very much, but I found it did not have good coverage, it was pretty much like wearing no make up after a few hours. The "badder" chemicals in the makeup tend to be what allows it to stay on. After trying that foundation I went to Neautrogina's (sp) line. They have the healthy skin foundation and powder and I thought that was fantastic. I've been on it for years now. The foundation truly does improve your skins appearance after 14 days like it advertises and the powder covers great and does the same. I often just wear the powder and not the liquid foundation. Now that kind isn't organic, but it doesn't have the harmful chemicals that can cause irritation and anything else you don't want to get from your make up.

Here are a list of natural/organic skin care brands:

Aveda, Alba, Burt's Bees, Aveeno, Boscia, Sibu.
Those are all the ones that I know of. Of course they're not all completely organic. Neutrogena also has a natural/organic line that is great.

I've used Aveda, Alba, Sibu, Aveeno, and Boscia. Out of those, I would recommend Sibu the most, although you would have to purchase those products online. The second best would be Aveda.

The more affordable ones are Burt's Bees, Aveeno, and Alba. Alba is better for more acne prone skin. Aveeno is great for all skin types. I personally have never tried Burt's Bees. I've tried Neutrogena, and I love it.

I think more people need to discover this, our world is way to materialistic.
But I am sure that you look very gorgeous without make-up.
Add some mascara if you want to wear make-up and a shadow that is close to your skin color I suppose.

this is what i do when i wanna go natural:

a soft, rosy pink eyeshadow on the lid, and then blend brown into the crease and a little under the eye. mascara is always a must, especially if you have short eyelashes.

get a light bronzer or blush to add some color to your face, and peach or clear lip gloss.

a simple natural look :]

They can be a dollar or two more but they aren't always. I go to my local health food store and I get really good quality products for only a couple dollars more, and sometimes cheaper. I got a great face moisturizer for 6.99 that is huge and will last forever. My shampoo and conditioner are 6.99 each and free of lauryl/lauryth sulfates, parabans, and are full of great ingredients. My face wash is a bar of natural seaweed soap that is a little over 3 dollars. I use a alcohol free witch hazel based toner with rose oil that is about 8 dollars and also lasts forever. All in all I doubt I spend more than 5 dollars a month more than if I bought questionable name brand products.

Natural does not mean anything any more. I'd suggest checking out Almay's eye quads for hazel eyes. Then for your face- you could either use a Tinted Moisturizer with SPF (I like Sonia Kashuk's from Target) -or- use a light dusting of bronzer (similar to one from Physician's Formula or Everyday Minerals). Great products and not too hard on the purse. I don't like wearing too much makeup either and these products work great for me in the heat of summer.

find a good mineral foundation to give you a good finish, moisturise before you put it on and try dying your lashes black which lasts for a month, it avoids the clumps from mascara or try clear macara and lipbalm E45 makes a good one

if you have clear skin, then focus on enhancing your eyes, lips, and cheeks.
trust me, you dont want to wear foundation and ruin your good, young skin.
so, depending on what color eyes you have, you can just wear some mascara and a neutral shadow.
i would suggest using a slightly shimmery gold shadow just up to your crease, and then either dark brown, or black mascara only on your top lashes. that way your eyes will look bigger and brighter.
and those colors go with most skin tones.
for your cheeks, just do a light sweep of blush if you want.
if you have fairer skin, use a peachy-pink color. if you have darker skin, use a rosier tone.
last, glide on your favorite chapstick or lipbalm, it gives sheer tint and a little flavor so it still looks natural. if thats not enough for your lips, you can glam it up by sweeping on some clear or shimmery lip gloss over the lip balm.
